ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Lavina Meesters, a 20-year-old Creative Media Designer focused on the art and cultural sector.
After graduating accelerated and cum laude, I continued at my former school as an instructor.
I work on marketing materials, brand identities, web design, photography, and social media. As the founder of MastersArt, I create visual concepts that connect with audiences in a clear and thoughtful way.
Big projects
Development & Design of Citizenship Culture Modules for Vocational Education
For Peer Academy and ROC van Amsterdam, I contributed to the development and visual design of culture modules for citizenship education within vocational education (MBO). As part of the Creative Office project, I created a simple and consistent visual identity, including posters and presentation designs for all modules.
Media Designer – Kunstbende Flevoland
I worked as a media designer for Kunstbende Flevoland during the preparation of the regional preliminary event. I was responsible for creating social media content and various graphic design materials, including keychains, event tickets, and promotional visuals for the competition.
ArtCore – Visual concept
A school project in which I developed a visual concept for a fictional art festival in Almere. The focus was on creating a modern, artistic style with a strong typographic wordmark as the main visual element. The concept is supported by research and applied in several mock-ups to show its versatility across different media.
FYTOP – Visual identity
A team project focused on creating a modern and consistent visual identity for FYTOP, a paramedical center formed by the merger of four practices. The design reflects trust, accessibility, and professionalism across print, digital, and branding applications.
Internship
CBK Zuidoost
During my internship at CBK Zuidoost, I co-developed the youth project CBK ZO Young. I contributed to activities for young audiences and worked on the visual identity and communication, combining my creative skills with my interest in art education and youth participation.
Specialization – Indesign + Photoshop
For the elective Specialization I focused on developing my design skills and earned certificates in Photoshop and InDesign through the online platform Bring Your Own Laptop.

Photography work
Photography has always been one of my greatest passions. In addition to the photography training I received, I have always enjoyed capturing moments and telling stories through images. Although a busy life has kept me from pursuing it privately in recent years, it is something I am excited to dedicate more time to again
